Becoming a Ticking Time Bomb: How To

    It's happened.  I have become a ticking time bomb when it comes to my patience level. I was doing so well with this whole waiting game, but the closer I get to 20 weeks the slower it feels like time goes by.  CAN'T I JUST KNOW THE GENDER ALREADY? I'm getting so anxious about knowing whether I'm going to be having a handsome fellow or a pretty little lady, and it's practically killing me. I like to plan, and planning for a baby is becoming extremely hard for me when I have no clue what I'm planning for.  BUT one thing I have been able to plan for is our big gender reveal party! I've already got everything for the party planned out and I cannot wait! (I'll save the details of the party for a later post ;)). The only thing that is holding me back from officially setting a date for the party is of course when my appointment will be.  Since I'm switching OB's it's taking a little while to get my paperwork transferred and an appointment set up, but I know that I can aim for the middle of February for the gender reveal party because I have been told that they will do my ultrasound at 20 weeks.
    Any who, Colton and I have officially picked a baby boy name (Eeek!) though, we are completely at a loss for a girl name still. I'm hoping that if we are having a little girl that the same thing will happen when we find her name as it did when we found our boy name (which will have to be a secret until we find out the gender) and it jumps out at us as "the perfect name". 
    Either way, Colt and I will both be excited for whatever the gender of our little peanut is.  All we can really ask for is a healthy baby. I just wish time would move a little bit faster so that we can get on with the show and I can start getting things ready for the nursery! ;) 



How far along? 16 Weeks 2 days
Countdown: 23 weeks 5 days
Size: The size of a turnip
Total weight gain: +10 lbs, at my last appointment the doctor said I was right on track and should start to notice a 1/2lb-1lb gain every week for a while from here on out.
Maternity clothes? Mostly my own clothes, mixed with some maternity tops so they aren't so tight. DEFINITELY maternity tights!
Stretch marks? Nope! And I'm in loveeee with my body cream that was given to me as a gift. It's called Skinny Girl Conditioning Belly Butter
Sleep: I can't sleep on my stomach anymore without feeling uncomfortable, and my nasal glands have become swollen to the point its impossible to breathe. Still loving all my dreams though!
Best moment this week: Hitting four months! 
Miss Anything? Cookie dough, being able to eat more than three bites before feeling full, and being able to sneeze without peeing my pants...
Movement: We were able to see the little peanut moving during the ultrasound but I don't feel anything yet
Food cravings: Cheese, blackberries, strawberries, and pizza
Anything making you queasy or sick: If I don't eat, if I eat too much, the smell of hot sauce
Gender: Not sure yet!
Labor Signs: None
Symptoms: Headaches, swollen nasal glands (that I've been told could stick around through my whole pregnancy-   -), and growing belly of course :)
Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? On 
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, certain people can make me laugh over anyythinggg.. *cough* TJ and Chels ;)
Looking forward to: Knowing the gender! And I can't wait for our gender reveal party!!
Next Appointment: It's up in the air at the moment, waiting on paperwork to transfer, then they will schedule me.
