About Me

I'm a wife to Colton, and a proud mother to Malia.  I love all things baby, crafting, hair and beauty, and photography.  I love spending all the time in the world with my mini, and I truly believe that there are no better blessings in life than to be loved by your husband and to have a child who makes every thing and every day of your life a little brighter. 

Colton and I met when we were in high school and that was all she wrote from there.  After four years together (and at a young age might I add) we decided to tie the knot. One short and exciting year later we found out that we were going to be expanding our little family, and we couldn't believe it! Days turned into months and before we knew it we had the sweetest, tiniest, and perfect little baby in our arms. She was born on June 25, 2013 and we named her Malia Charlotte and she has had us both wrapped around her cute little fingers ever since.

Now, as a new mom I wanted to be able to share all the joys of parenthood (along with the not so joyous) and all the little things that I have come to love and appreciate about life.

10 facts about me:

1. I put God, family, and friends before everything.

2. I graduated from a community college and I am currently a stay at home mom.

3. Just because I enjoy crafting does not mean i'm always good at it (so maybe you'll experience some laughs out of this).

4. I have an older brother and a younger sister...which makes me the peace keeper between the two.

5. I'm a HUGE mama's girl, and I hope that Malia is the same way ;).

6. My hair is extremely long...and I typically don't mind, though some days I find myself with a pair of scissors in my hand ready to chop it off. While, on other days i'm hiding from any potential scissor happy hairdressers.

7. I wear skirts and dresses basically all the time.

8. My favorite blog is The Freckled Fox. I found her while I was pregnant and loved all her maternity ideas...not to mention her hair tutorials for long hair!

9. My favorite food is Macaroni and cheese, whether its from a box or homemade.

10. Fall is my favorite season because I feel it's the most representative of God's beautiful creation.
