| 20 wk ultrasound |
Wellll as you all know Colton and I recently announced that our little peanut is a girl! Colton definitely called this one from the beginning, while I on the other hand was convinced I was having a boy. I had a name, how I wanted to do the nursery, and all things boy already lined up and ready to go in my head, While God apparently had a different idea for us! When the ultrasound tech told us we were having a little girl I was so in shock that I still called her a he! But after it sunk in and I was able to wrap my head around the fact that instead of planes, boats, and footballs we were going to have dolls, tutu's, and bows I become overwhelmed with excitement. I always pictured myself with a little boy first and I never really let myself think about what it would be like to have a mini me.
Of course, since Colton felt the whole time that we were going to have a little girl, he already had a name in mind and it was a good one! He immediately began calling her Malia and because of how much he loved it, I too began to love it. So we agreed on naming her Malia Charlotte. I had originally thought Charlotte for a first name but decided that Malia Charlotte was too pretty to pass up! (and the fact that I wanted a name that wasn't common, and Charlotte is now becoming very popular again)
So there it is! This coming June (if it will ever get here) we're going to have a little lady who's ready to make her big debut! :)
